Sally’s love for design started early, creating & building with anything at hand. The decision to channel her creativity into Interior design came accidentally but the freedom to create on a limitless canvas was instantly captivating. Her mother is an artist and her father an engineer; aesthetic problem solving is at the heart of Yellow Wren design.​

Having spent the last 20 years working for some of the best practices in the industry, Sally has honed her skills alongside designers, architects, engineers, and artists; delivering a wide array of projects to meet budgets from a few thousand up to multi-million-pound developments. Bringing fresh personalised designs to life from concept through the design process and on to completion. Covering all aspects of interior design & management; providing mood boards, sample boards, visuals, construction drawings, and schedules as well as site attendance.

In the 5 years prior to establishing Yellow Wren design, Sally lead a design team as an Associate at one of the UK's leading interior design companies working on award-winning high-quality projects, making many connections within the industry.

Hotel design
Sally has had the pleasure of working on multi-award-winning 4 and 5-star hotels from Historic Mayfair to Grade 2 listed Country Manors; Creating new public areas, including award-winning restaurants, wedding venue, spa, pool and changing facilities, bedroom refurbishments, including Suits, Junior Suites and Penthouse Apartments.

Fundamentally we understand the challenge of implementing a refurbishment in a busy boutique hotel while maintaining the all-important guest experience. We understand the challenge of giving 70+ bedrooms a unique and bespoke feel without losing the uniformity which allows a busy hotel to run efficiently and effectively.The experience of working with mid-scale boutique hotels means we are very happy and able to assist with guest houses, B&Bs, holiday lets, and hotels alike.
