interior design for hospitality / commercial / residential
“It’s been amazing to see our pub/restaurant evolve and it’s clear that the end result will be a wonderful realisation beyond our initial aims and vision. Sally at Yellow Wren Design has the critical attention to detail and natural flair for interiors and design that not only give confidence but positively impact the environment. Sally has truly transformed our property into a great space with feeling and her support and guidance has been crucial to our project, which had to be delivered to a tight budget and timeline. I would absolutely recommend Sally as I’m confident that she’ll add value and deliver to a project no matter how big or small.”

‘Over the pass 3 years I have the pleasure of working with Sally on a number of projects commercially and personally. Not only have you met my expectations you have far exceeded them.
Professional, attention to detail are just some words that can describe Sally. Thank you and to future projects. Best wishes
I have been working with Sally for over 15 years both in her previous post, and now as Yellow Wren design.
Sally is a pleasure to work with and always gives 100% to her projects. She has extensive knowledge of Interior Design and the build process. She is happy and confident to guide a project from inception to completion.
Sally has a keen eye for detail and always works with the team to realise the best solution, balancing financial limitations with aesthetic needs.
We are currently working together on The Old Red Lion Public house in Great Brickhill. I invited Yellow Wren to join the project as our designer on a D&B basis, the project is nearing completion and we have been extremely happy with how smoothly the process has gone, especially given the unusual circumstances and challenges of working during a pandemic. The client has developed a strong and trusting working relationship with Sally, she engages very well with people and unifies a team very effectively.
I would not hesitate to recommend Sally and Yellow Wren design, she is a dedicated and capable designer who always delivers beautiful work.
Sally was recommended to me by a really good friend and I can't thank her enough for the professional service I received. She was able to fully understand the direction of the refurbishment of my shop, from implementing a totally new colour scheme, improving lighting, and adding detailed finishing touches just about everywhere. Thank you so much for an amazing design again from my team, my customers, and I, we all love it!”

Sally was recommended to us by our shopfitters as being particularly excellent at bringing concepts together and coordinating all of the strands of design and implementation….
They weren’t wrong!
As our latest refit is cosmetic (albeit a significant job) we didn’t want or need to use an architect but with Sally, we feel that we’ve had the best of both worlds! She’s been seamlessly able to convey our concept to our Shopfitters whilst also making our lives infinitely easier during the whole design, sample gathering, and implementation phase of the project. Our previous fit-out sucked up all of our time as we had to be hands-on with every part of the process from gathering quotes, samples, and booking the work to actually liaising with the construction team on a daily basis, this time it’s felt like a much easier process and we’ve actually been almost able to sit back knowing that Sally has taken care of all of these tasks.
Our initial reservations were instantly dismissed when Sally came back with the exact concept that we had in our heads, the first drawings were 95% of the way there! We were actually shocked at how well Sally had read our needs and helped finesse them into an amazing design that was totally on-brand! There were very few tweaks from that first stage! Sally has even helped us manage budgets and expectations by suggesting innovative alternatives to some of the more expensive “wants" we had, replacing slatted wood with an ultra-modern painted corrugated metal wall paneling for example.
I’ve worked with designers in different sectors for years and often they give the customer what they 'ought to want' rather than what they actually need and is functional! We’ve had nothing but helpful advice on how to take our concept from our heads and translate that into to a workable amazing design. We will most definitely work with Sally on our next project and we now consider what she’s able to bring to the table a necessity rather than a luxury.
